Children's Ministry - Birth Through 5th Grade
At Crosspointe we want God's word to be more than background noise in your child's busy life. We want them to know who Jesus is, we want them to know that they have a really big God and that God's word is true and the wise choice. We also know that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church and we want to partner with you, equipping you with tools to build faith and character in your children - helping you become Deuteronomy 6 parents.
Crosspointe Children's Ministry offers three distinct programs to engage children weekly and seasonally. Children's Ministry programs are hosted in the 100 level called The Grove.
Sundays In The Grove
Each week Crosspointe Kids meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. in The Grove for large group Children's Church and small group classes. The Crosspointe Kids program is designed in such a way that the two sessions can stand alone or provide a continuous program for those who's parents stay for both worship service and a bible study.
Crosspointe Kids Sunday programs use The Gospel Project curriculum that is designed for each age and stage of a child's spiritual journey. Large Group worship, video, and lesson lend themselves to a natural small group discussion or directed play, depending on the class.
Wednesday Evening AWANA Clubs
AWANA clubs meet Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 8:00 p.m. Clubs begins in September and ends in April. AWANA Clubs at Crosspointe are for children age 3 through 5th Grade and are divided between Cubbies (ages 3-5), Sparks (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade) and T&T (3rd - 5th Grade). A typical AWANA Club night includes songs, large group lesson, small group handbook time, game time and more.
Vacation Bible School may only be one week, just once a year, but it's an amazing week at Crosspointe every June! The entire facility is transformed into an exciting, inviting, kid friendly, themed experience that brings the Truth of scripture and the heart changing knowledge of Jesus alive for children age 4 through (completed) 5th Grade. This free week of activities is a phenomenal way to kick of any child's summer.
In addition to the scheduled programs at Crosspointe, Children's Ministry hosts occasional off site retreats, family mission trips and social activities. Sign up for the Crosspointe eNews! and visit the Children's Ministry Calendar for additional details.
Parents are encouraged to review the Children and Student Ministry scope and sequence for additional information on goal and milestones for our Children's Ministry programs.
