Building on the Vision

Building on the Vision

Announcing Building on the Vision

The mission of Crosspointe is to help people make Christ the center of their lives and the strategic vision is to reach the families of the community through effective children and student ministries.  On Sunday, May 5, 2019, Crosspointe announced Building on the Vision capital campaign and stewardship series.   The Building on the Vision stewardship series, Sundays through June 2, will address biblical principles of stewardship and giving.  Building on the Vision capital campaign will allow Crosspointe to lower barriers that have limited wheelchair bound individuals from participating in lower level activities and opening up new possibilities for current and future families through the addition of an elevator and complimentary projects.

Building on the Vision:  Perspectives

Crosspointe members Susan Schmitz and Micah Leong were asked for their perspective on Building on the Vision. Each were asked about their history at C3, their thoughts on Building on the Vision projects and any words of encouragement for our congregation about the projects.  Please take a moment to watch Sue and Micah share their perspectives about Crosspointe's Building on the Vision.

Building on the Vision Stewardship Series

There are three principles of stewardship that Pastor Matt, Pastor Jason and, special guest speaker, Clark Dickerson will be teaching on during the stewardship series.

1.  God is the Owner of All
2.  We are Stewards, Not Owners
3.  We are Blessed to Bless Others

All three principles will be published HERE.  Listen, watch or download any session, share with a friend or print the accompanying notes.

Building on the Vision 30-Day Devotional

An additional resource to the Building on the Vision stewardship series is the 30-day devotional, "7 Keys to Open-handed Living in a Tight-fisted World" by Pastor Brian Kluth.

Crosspointe is offering this resource free to our congregation at Guest Services or you may choose to print/view a copy HERE.  Each day of the devotional a reading will focus on one of the 7 keys in learning to live a generous, open-handed life:  SUBMIT yourself and ll you have to the Lord, STUDY the Scriptures on finances and generosity, SEE what God has provided in your life, SET ASIDE resources to give, SYSTEMATICALLY give, SPONTANEOUSLY give as the Lord leads you and SIMPLIFY your life to be even more generous.

To accompany the daily readings, there is a weekly video post from Pastor Kluth that will be posted HERE

Building on the Vision Prayer Walk

A prayer walk is set at Crosspointe for Wednesday, May 22, at 6:30 p.m.  We will meet to begin in room 216, pick up a map of prayer stops and items of prayer and praise.  Individuals and small groups will walk from stop to stop praying specifically for that stop as they go.  The prayer walk is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. and you are welcome to join in at any stop at any time.
