Why Are We Planting?

Church planting has always been one of the most effective ways to reach new people with the Gospel. After years of prayer, conversations, assessment, and planning, we believe God is leading us to partner in launching Redemption Church. We invite you to learn more about the journey, the vision, and how you can pray with us.

Our Journey

2023

Attendance continues to increase, prompting conversations about future ministry opportunities.


March 17, 2024

Charles first shares his desire to plant a church.


April 2024

Prayer Team launches to begin seeking God's direction.


July 2024

The Elders begin praying intentionally about church planting.


November 2024

Crosspointe partners with Ministry Engine.


April 2025

Pastor Jason and Andrew Fegan attend the NAB Multipliers Summit.


August 2025

Charles and Maggie complete the NAB assessment and receive the green light to move forward.


August 2025

The vision is presented to the Leadership Board.


September 2025

Church Planting discussed at the Elder Summit.


January 2026

Pastor Matt announces the church planting vision to Crosspointe.


May 2026

Charles and Maggie visit Crosspointe.


August 2026

Charles and Maggie officially join the Crosspointe staff.

We invite you to get to know Charles and Maggie and the heart behind Redemption Church. The Prospectus shares their story, their vision for reaching the community, their ministry experience, financial plan, and what they believe God is calling them to build.

Staff Support


Ministry Support

  • $3,500 missionary support (2026)
  • $3,000 annual ministry expense account
  • One-time relocation bonus
  • Crosspointe Ministry Training Scholarship (approximately $1,500)


Additional Support

Charles will also receive additional church planting funding through the Great Lakes Association and the North American Baptist Conference as various ministry milestones are reached.


Personal Fundraising

Like many church planters, Charles will personally raise additional financial support for both his family's needs and the work of launching Redemption Church.
