What to expect at Crosspointe

When you visit Crosspointe, you can expect a welcoming, Christ-centered environment focused on worship, biblical teaching, and community. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable, informed, and at home from the moment you arrive.

SERVICE TIMES & OVERVIEW

Sunday worship services take place at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Each service is the same and includes a time of worship through music and clear, Bible-centered teaching. A typical service lasts about 60 minutes.

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early, especially if it’s your first visit. This gives you time to find parking, grab a coffee, check in kids, and get settled before the service begins. Services are held in the Worship Center on the main level, just inside the main entrance (Entrance B).

WHERE DO I PARK?

Our main parking lot is located to the east of the building. It includes a covered drop-off area (Entrance D) and a barrier-free entrance with elevator access (Entrance C). Handicap-accessible parking and ramp entry are also available at the main entrance (Entrance B) along 8 Mile Road.

Where do I go when I arrive?

If you enter through the main entrance (B), you’ll step into the main lobby. From there, you’ll see doors to the Worship Center and the Gathering Space.

If you enter from the parking lot (Entrances C or D), follow the main hallway toward the Worship Center lobby. The Worship Center doors open shortly before each service.

While you’re waiting, feel free to stop by the Gathering Space for a complimentary cup of coffee or tea and a donut or bagel. If you need help at any point, look for someone wearing a Guest Services badge—they’re happy to help you find your way.

What about my kids?

The lower level of the building is called The Grove and is dedicated to Children and Student Ministries. The Grove offers safe, welcoming, age-appropriate environments where kids can grow in their faith.

Children birth through 4th grade are invited to participate in Crosspointe Kids, and students in grades 5–12 are part of our Crosspointe Students.

Crosspointe Kids (Birth – 4th Grade)

Crosspointe Kids check-in is available at two locations for your convenience.

The main, staffed Children’s Check-In station is located in the lobby near the main entrance (Entrance B) and is the best place for first-time guests and returning families. Our team will help you register your child, answer questions, and walk you through the process.

A self-service check-in station is also available near Entrance C for families who are already familiar with the system.

At check-in, parents receive two matching security tags—one for the child to wear and one for pickup. Crosspointe Kids programs are held on the lower level and are available during both the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services.

Crosspointe Students (Grades 5-12)

Crosspointe Students is designed for middle and high school students and does not require check-in. Classes meet during the 11:00 a.m. service on the lower level and provide a space for students to learn, connect, and grow together.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Dress comfortably. You’ll see everything from jeans and casual attire to dresses and suits. Our staff is often in jeans and button-down shirts. On holidays like Christmas and Easter, some people dress up for photos, but there’s no expectation. Wear whatever helps you focus on worship and the message.

What is the atmosphere like?

The Crosspointe Worship Center blends traditional architecture with modern elements. The building features stained glass windows and a pipe organ, paired with modern worship music and teaching supported by screens.

Song lyrics are displayed on screens, and Bibles are available if you’d like to follow along. Public Wi-Fi is also available for those who prefer to use a Bible app.

What is the service like?

Each service begins with worship led by our worship team, followed by announcements and additional worship. The message is taught by Senior Pastor Matt Swiatek or Associate Pastor Jason Coplen and typically lasts 20–30 minutes.

The full service runs about one hour, creating a meaningful and focused worship experience without feeling rushed.

Adult bible studies

Adult Bible Studies are offered during both service hours. This two-hour format allows you to attend worship during one hour and participate in a Bible study during the other.

The worship services are the same at both times, while the classes vary. Visitors are always welcome and encouraged to explore both Sunday morning classes and additional study opportunities throughout the week.
