Project:  Hispanics for Christ Leadership Institute

Hispanics For Christ have been involved in the training of church leaders for almost twenty years. Now, in association with Kairos University, we offer theological training for all levels of leadership in Hispanic churches at an affordable price.  We want to help Hispanic churches develop more leaders with better theological training so that they can grow and plant new churches across the Americas.

Cameroon crisis relief fund

As the crisis and conflict in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon continues, so do the needs of the civilian population caught in the midst of it. The Crisis Relief Fund has assisted many internally displaced people (IDP's) who have been forced to flee their homes due to the conflict in the NW and SW Regions of Cameroon. The fund has given financial assistance to pay hospital bills for injured civilians, assisted individuals to start businesses in a new area and provided food and clothing for people in prisons and families who were forced to flee their villages with nothing. Along with financial and material assistance given to those who are suffering, care and compassion is provided to see whole lives transformed. The emotional trauma of war continues on despite this assistance and many have been helped by the Trauma Healing Workshops. These workshops have assisted hundreds of people as they struggle to deal with the turmoil of trauma. The workshops have also assisted pastors and community leaders to be better equipped to assist people in their churches and communities.   crisis relief fund

Jungle Radio stations in Suriname

When Auca warriors of the Ecuadorian jungle murdered the five missionaries who were reaching out to them in 1956, it had a ripple effect on the missions world, inspiring many more to become missionaries. Ivan and Doris Schoen were among them and went to the Wayana tribe of Suriname.

Their son, Tom, speaks the Wayana language. He grew up among them as they came to Christ, and today, the Wayana are inviting Tom to team up with TWR to bring gospel radio to the jungles of Suriname. You will want to be a part of this movement of the Great Commission to reach some of the last remaining unreached people groups. Missionaries who went to the “ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8) led the Wayana to Christ, and now the Wayana are going out and making disciples. (Matthew 28:19).

God has provided equipment for two radio stations. The antenna towers, solar panels, and two generators are still needed to power the installation, plus funding to ship it all to Suriname and fly it into the interior, which is the only way.

Will you help TWR reach the last remaining unreached of Suriname with a generous gift today? Ten percent of all funds received for the project will be given to the Telos Foundation, a non-profit set up by the Schoen family to support Suriname missionaries, Wayana Bible distribution, and Suriname ministry opportunities.  HELP TWR REACH SURINAME

Bible Translation

Christian Lingua estimates there are 7,097 known languages in the world. The complete Bible has been translated into approximately 700 languages, while the New Testament has been translated into well over 1,500 languages. Smaller portions of the New Testament have been translated into over 1,000 languages. At least one part of the Bible has been translated into 3,312 of the 7,097 languages.  Won't you help make it 3,313?
